Established in 1973 (originally as the York Regional Camera Club), the club changed its name to the Richmond Hill Camera Club around 2005.

2016 Glennie Memorial Nature Salon: RHCC was first overall (81 clubs from 22 countries) and tied for first in the diversity award.

2016 GTCCC (Greater Toronto Council of Camera Clubs): RHCC won 4 of the 5 categories, including the Stuart Freedman Trophy for the overall award.

2015 GTCCC:  RHCC won all of the 5 trophies, including the Stuart Freedman Trophy for the overall award.

2013 Glennie Memorial Nature Salon:  RHCC wins 3rd place tie, out of 91 clubs worldwide

2012 Glennie Memorial Nature Salon:   RHCC’s 10-image submission earned us a 27th place tie out of 94 clubs in The George W. Glennie Memorial Nature Salon, and  we had two top awards.

2012 GTCCC:    RHCC earned the Stuart Freedman Trophy as the top club in the GTCCC interclub competition.
