Description:
Colonel Sam Smith is my favorite park to visit! There’s always lots to see and photograph. At the moment the red-necked grebes are starting to nest. Also, the tree swallows have arrived! Other sightings may include great blue heron, night herons, turtles, and many more birds! This park is located at the foot of Kipling in Etobicoke.

Meet at the free parking lot which is at the end of the road.
The Plan: We will walk around the park to see what birds, turtles, beavers, etc… we can find.
Parking: There is free parking provided in the link above which is at the end of the road. If this parking lot is full, you would have passed a Green P parking lot on your left, #529, $1 per half hour.
Washroom Facilities: No washrooms at the park but there is a Tim Hortons nearby.
Food: Bring a snack/lunch and a drink if you’d like to stay and socialize with the group.
Physical Requirements: Level paths throughout the park.
Registration: Limited to 10 members. Guests of members are not allowed.
