Photograph the final race of the season at night from INSIDE the track!

Nick Shearman has a special relationship with the management of Goodwood Kartways.   Nick has arranged VIP access for Club members to be “INSIDE” the track while Go-Karts are racing at top speeds within feet of you while competing in the “FINALE” Kartways Cup Karts Canada-Briggs Championship.

 Full Description: This is the last race of the Kart series and the management of Goodwood Kartways pulls out all the stops to make this race of the season very special! The racing starts in the late afternoon with the final races at night lit up with the stadium lights, and some karts will be decorated with LED lights for the night races. This is your last opportunity to be up close and personal with the racers and their karts. Your photography abilities will be challenged as you use camera panning techniques and low light/night photography attempting to use your telephoto lens.

Meeting place outside in front of the snack bar.

Parking: Off of Concession Rd 2, just north of Wagg Rd. Free Parking in lot.

Washroom Facilities: Onsite.

Food: The snack bar is on the premises will be open, or bring a light snack or dinner. 

Physical Requirements: There will be some amount of walking involved to get to different locations on the track. I would suggest bringing a light fold-up stool for sitting when needed to rest between races.

Registration: Limited to 5 members including Nick, no guests allowed.

Registration Waitlist: The registration waitlist will be handled by the club website.

Photo / Video Requirements: We will send our best 10 images (or more if you desire) each to Goodwood Kartways. This is required as part of the agreement for having us there.

 Photo Tips & Tricks: Telephoto lens for capturing karts on the track (24-70mm, 70-200mm, 100-400mm). Lots of fully charged batteries and formatted memory cards. Tripod or mono pod allowed if you so desire, though not required. Ear plugs, as some of the karts are noisy.

Safety Considerations: High visible vests are a MUST. Nick does not supply the vests. 

NO VEST YOU DO NOT PARTICIPATE.

Waivers must be signed before you are allowed on the track. Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions, insect repellant, sun protection.
