The newly extended TTC subway line to the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre has created several new subway stations with avant-garde interior and exterior design features. These stations comprise the following: Vaughan Metropolitan, Highway 407, Pioneer Village, York University, Finch West, and Downsview stations.

We will meet at 10 a.m. at the subway entrance (from the parking lot) of the Highway 407 Station. Address: 7332 Jane Street. Free parking is available on weekends. We will use the subway line and visit each of the above-noted stations.

Cost
No cost for parking. Have to purchase a subway “ticket” using the PRESTO Card. With the use of PRESTO Card, passengers are allowed a 2-Hour window to go in and out of the stations in both travel directions. PRESTO cards can be purchased at the Highway 407 station or at any Shoppers Drug Mart at the cost of $6 (plus whatever amount you wish to load into the card.)

Registration
Open to RHCC members only (no guests allowed)
Registration will be limited to 10 members to help manage physical distancing.

Note:
Wearing of face mask/covering is mandatory inside subway stations and on the train.
Please maintain the 2 m physical distancing at all times.
The use of a tripod is not advised inside subway stations, a monopod would be a better option.
