Field trips are a great way for you to get out taking pictures. We all lead busy lives and sometimes put off our hobbies until we ’have time’. Our field trips give you an opportunity to work photography into your schedule. All the arrangements are made for you so you just need to register and show up. We choose locations and situations we think will be of interest to most members and try to provide a wide range of subjects. There are always several advanced members attending the trips who are very helpful if you need advice or have questions. Join us for a fun and easy-going experience photographing interesting and often unique subjects.

Field trips are open to club members only and require registration. The registration form appears on the ‘details’ page sometime before the event, and when it does, a notice also appears on the Current News page.
The number of allowed participants varies with each field trip and is noted on the registration form. You are advised to register early to avoid disappointment. When you register you will be required to agree to and accept the following liability waiver:
Liability Waiver For Richmond Hill Camera Club (RHCC) Field Trips/ Outings and Workshops

I acknowledge this risk and danger and accept sole personal responsibility for my personal property and my personal safety as well as any and all consequences resulting from my participation in any RHCC Field Trip, Outing, Special Interest Group or Workshop. I further agree to not hold the Richmond Hill Camera Club or any of its members responsible for any outcome, loss, injury, or liability from my participation in any Field Trip, Outing, Special Interest Group or Workshop organized by the RHCC. I further understand and accept that this liability waiver applies to any and all guests or participants which may be brought by me to any club event or activity and that I hereby undertake to advise my guests of this liability waiver and to obtain their acceptance of these terms. I further understand that I am responsible to ensure my guest’s safety and the safety of his/her equipment during any club event or activity.
I further agree to comply with all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations as well as the rules, restrictions, and policies of any place or organization visited while participating in any RHCC Field Trip, Outing, Special Interest Group or Workshop.
Cancellation Policy: All payments are final and there will be no refunds.
However, if you are unable to attend this workshop or field trip, please advise the event coordinator as soon as possible. We will use our best efforts to substitute another Club member. If we are able to find a substitute attendee, your payment will be refunded minus a $10.00 administrative fee.
Acceptance
I have read the terms of this waiver and understand that by registering for a Richmond Hill Camera Club event (including Field Trips, Outings, Special Interest Groups or Workshops), I acknowledge and agree to the terms of this liability waiver and accept sole personal responsibility as stated in this waiver.
For those who would like to meet up with fellow club members during the week, a few midweek outings have been planned. We’re keeping them simple and fairly close to Richmond Hill to cut down on traveling time. Registration will not be necessary. However, if you’re planning on attending please send an email to so we’ll know who to expect. Also, the general waiver must be signed in order to attend.
Note: More midweek outings can always be added depending on the interest level.
