Our Glennie selection team will be selecting the best nature images from our members for the annual club submission to the Glennie Memorial Nature Salon. More information about the competition is available here.
The conditions of the competition call for a club entry of 10 images with no more than 2 from any one photographer. Our committee will consider all worthy nature images from club members that have not been previously entered in the Glennie competition. Any pure nature image may be uploaded that meets the PSA requirements, whether entered into a club competition or not.
Please note that if any member belongs to more than one camera club, they must ensure that no more than two of their images are submitted to the Glennie in the same year.
Email Kathy Constantinou at to advise her if you belong to another club that might be considering entering any of your images to the Glennie this year so we can ensure you don’t exceed your limit of 2 images.
Any member may submit up to eight images for consideration by the selection team. Categories include: Animals, Botany, and Landscape. Images should be a maximum size of 1024 wide x 768 pixels high and maximum 1 MB in size. Image resolution should be no more than 100 ppi. Color space is sRGB and format is JPG. The Title should be 50 characters or less. No stitched images or infrared images are allowed. Upload your images through our competition upload page.
The deadline for submission of images for consideration is 9 pm, Tuesday February 5, 2019.
The committee will request the original raw files from makers of the selected images to confirm adherence to the strict PSA nature rules as required by the Glennie Salon. The PSA nature rules can be viewed here.
