OCCC (formerly GTCCC) Interclub Competition
The Ontario Council of Camera Clubs, formerly known as the Greater Toronto Council of Camera Clubs is an association of about two dozen photography clubs in the Greater Toronto area and surrounding areas in the province of Ontario, Canada. At present the member clubs range from Oakville, Hamilton, Burlington, Halton Hills, Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo in the south and west, north to Newmarket, Georgian Bay, Barrie and Haliburton, and to Ajax, Oshawa & Cobourg in the east.
The GTCCC acts as a forum for member clubs, and promotes and facilitates various events of common interest.
A major event in the Council calendar is the organization of the annual Interclub Competition, in which member clubs compete against each other for a number of prizes and trophies in various categories.
Visit gtccc.ca to read all about the organization’s activities. (They are working on the new O3C.ca website).
Entries are done through our club’s competition upload page, not directly to the GTCCC. Each club submits images on behalf of the club; The 2019 InterClub Challenge submission deadline will likely be late in our club season, with judging over the summer and presentations in mid October (Oct 20-22 weekend). Watch for more information.
