Workshops take place in the Norm Taylor Room at the Bond Lake Arena.

Workshops are open to club members only, and require registration.  There is usually a small fee.   The registration form appears on the ‘details’ page some time before the event, and when it does, a notice also appears on the Current News page.  Club policy requires registration for all workshops.  In the event that a member who has not pre-registered shows up to a workshop, if there is sufficient space, they may be allowed to attend but must pay double the workshop fee (before the start of the workshop) due to the extra administration that is involved.

The number of allowed participants may vary with each workshop and is noted on the registration form.  You are advised to register early to avoid disappointment.  When you register you will be required to agree to and accept the following liability waiver:

Liability Waiver For Richmond Hill Camera Club (RHCC) Fieldtrips/ Outings and Workshops

I understand that membership in the Richmond Hill Camera Club provides me with opportunities to participate in activities that may involve elements of risk or danger that could result in loss or damage to my personal property, personal injury, or death. I acknowledge this risk and danger and accept sole personal responsibility for my personal property and my personal safety as well as any and all consequences resulting from my participation in any RHCC Field Trip, Outing, Special Interest Group or Workshop. I further agree to not hold the Richmond Hill Camera Club or any of its members responsible for any outcome, loss, injury, or liability from my participation in any Field Trip, Outing, Special Interest Group or Workshop organized by the RHCC. I further understand and accept that this liability waiver applies to any and all guests or participants which may be brought by me to any club event or activity and that I hereby undertake to advise my guests of this liability waiver and to obtain their acceptance of these terms. I further understand that I am responsible to ensure my guest’s safety and the safety of his/her equipment during any club event or activity.
I further agree to comply with all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations as well as the rules, restrictions, and policies of any place or organization visited while participating in any RHCC Field Trip, Outing, Special Interest Group or Workshop.

Cancellation Policy: All payments are final and there will be no refunds.
However, if you are unable to attend this workshop or field trip, please advise the event coordinator as soon as possible. We will use our best efforts to substitute another Club member. If we are able to find a substitute attendee, your payment will be refunded minus a $10.00 administrative fee.

Acceptance
I have read the terms of this waiver and understand that by registering for a Richmond Hill Camera Club event (including Field Trips, Outings, Special Interest Groups or Workshops), I acknowledge and agree to the terms of this liability waiver and accept sole personal responsibility as stated in this waiver.
